Meet Our Friend and Your July 4th Host Cherie Flores

Amanda met Cherie when she had an out of control dog who needed expert training. Cherie has been training dogs for over thirty years. She started out mentoring under another trainer while she pursued her “first career”. Then she spent many years training Search and Rescue dogs before she became involved in the sport of Schutzhund (now IPO/IGP). Cherie has enjoyed much success in all the venues. She is a National and International Competitor in the sport. Cherie considers herself a lifelong learning which is awesome for you because she is always seeking to learn new things that she brings to the facility.
Cherie is now the Executive Director for Infinite PawsAbilities, a 501©(3) that rescues dogs from the shelter and teaches inmates at Mule Creek State Prison to train them. Appropriate dogs may be trained for service work, search and rescue or as a facility dog. For more about Cherie’s philosophy and experience, click here to read about “Our story”.

🎆 4th of July Fun—Without the BOOM! 🐾

Fosters & Paws + Infinite PawsAbilities invite you to a firework-filled celebration… without the noise! That’s right—you’ll see the sparkle of fireworks from Auburn, Sacramento, and Stockton but your pups won’t hear a thing! 👀✨🎇

This is the perfect Independence Day event for sensitive dogs (and noise-sensitive humans too)!

Here’s what’s going down:

🍔 BBQ Dinner (with veg options!) Water and soda included.

Adult Beverage Package available or single drinks for purchase

🐶 Dog Activities Galore:
• Dock Diving
• Barn Hunting
• Canine Good Citizen Testing
🏕️ Overnight Camping – Tent or RV (dry) spots available!
👣 Fun for humans too—games, hikes & good vibes all around!

Let’s make memories, celebrate safely, and support rescue pups at the same time. ❤️

Bring your camping chairs or a blanket!

Come out, have fun, support rescue! We will have plenty of adoptable dogs and puppies there looking for their forever homes too!
