🎆 Fireworks are fun for us—but they can be terrifying for our pets. 🐾

Every year, shelters see an increase in lost pets after fireworks. A frightened dog or cat can jump a fence, slip out a door, or break free from a leash in seconds.

Help keep your furry family members safe:
❤️ Keep pets indoors before fireworks begin.
🏡 Create a quiet, comfortable space with their favorite bed or blanket.
🎵 Turn on a TV, fan, or calming music to help drown out loud noises.
🦴 Offer a favorite toy, lick mat, or treat to keep them occupied.
🏷️ Make sure collars fit properly and ID tags and microchip information are up to date.
🚪 Keep doors and gates securely closed, and remind guests to be extra careful coming and going.
🐕 Leave pets at home—fireworks shows are simply too stressful for most animals.
