Last year, 480 dogs found hope through our doors.

Many arrived sick, injured, or broken in spirit — and we welcomed every single one, regardless of their medical needs. That commitment came with a cost: over $380,000 in veterinary expenses.

Between irresponsible breeding and an economy that makes critical care unaffordable for so many families, the need is greater than ever. That’s why your support is more vital now than ever before.

💛 Every gift matters. Every dollar helps us say “yes.”
Because for these dogs, saying yes means the difference between suffering and safety, between being discarded and being loved.

Thanks to donors like you, we’ve done the impossible time and again — and with your help, we’ll keep doing it.

Below are just a few of the many dogs your generosity will support this year. Let’s continue saving lives — together.

Oscar

🐾 Meet Oscar – Our Little Fighter with a Big Heart 🐾

From the moment Oscar was born, he had the odds stacked against him. He came into the world with a large hernia on his chest, and a vet visit revealed a 4/6 heart murmur. It was a tough start for such a tiny pup, but Oscar's story was just beginning.

Thankfully, a kind-hearted woman stepped in and brought Oscar to us — hoping we could work a little rescue magic. And we were all in.

We got him evaluated by our vet and then off to a cardiologist to understand what his future might hold. The good news? While his heart murmur is still present, he doesn’t currently need medication. That means we can move forward with surgery to repair the hernia on his chest and give him a real shot at a healthy life.

Oscar is sweet, gentle, and full of potential — but lately, he’s faced even more hurdles. On Monday, he started showing signs of illness, and we rushed him to the vet. A PCR test confirmed Canine Pneumovirus and Mycoplasma, and he tested positive for both Coccidia and Giardia. He’s now on Clavamox, Doxycycline, and parasite treatment while we fight hard to get him stable again.

💔 Oscar's care has already exceeded $3,000, and his hernia surgery is estimated to cost another $2,000. We never want to say no to a dog like Oscar, but we can’t keep saying yes without your support.

✨ If Oscar’s story touches your heart, please consider donating to his care. Every dollar helps us give this brave little guy the life he deserves.

🧡 Help us keep saying YES — for Oscar and dogs like him.
